Gomba Ssaza FC has confirmed the committee that will oversee the organization of its team for this year’s Masaza cup. The development was reached on today at Gomba Ssaza headquarters as Owek. Mugabi Fredrick William Kitunzi read 10 people for organizing committee which will be headed by Mr Mwesigye Daniel as patron and Mrs Jane Namatovu as chairperson.
Resty Mbatidde Namugema has been named the Team Manager who replaces Kalule Jafari, Namugema has been media officer for the gomba lion’s for the last three years while Tebusweke Wilber named the team treasurer.
Star FM and UBC TV presenter Bbosa Ibrahim has been naned the Media officer of the record Champions while Lulibe Derrick Nsubuga retained the treasurer position.
The 2026 edition of the masaza cup is scheduled to kick off on 13th June 2026, with the defending champions Buweekula Ssaza will host this year’s masaza cup oppner.
Gomba Lions ended the 2025 Masaza Cup season with poor performance having failed to progress through the group stages as they finished fourth in Bulange group with nine points.
