The management of Buweekula Ssaza has officially confirmed its technical team as preparations intensify for the 2026 Buganda Masaza Football Tournament.
Experienced and tactically astute Andrew Ssali has been appointed head coach of the reigning champions. He replaces Felix Ssekabuza, who recently joined record champions Gomba at the start of this month.

Ssali, a former Vipers SC winger, was unveiled as head coach at HK Hotel in Mubende District. He brings with him a wealth of experience and a reputation for discipline and organization.
He will be supported by a strong technical bench that includes Ssenyonja Moses, Magaasi Jamaada as first assistant coach, Kafeero Robert as second assistant, and Kakeeto Gerald as goalkeeping coach, among others.

Ssali has previously coached Ssese, Bugerere, and Buddu Ssaza teams, winning one Masaza Cup title during his career. Known for his structured approach, he is regarded as a highly organized tactician both in preparation and during matches.
Buweekula, nicknamed the “Nakayima Boys,” clinched the 2025 Masaza Cup under coach Felix Ssekabuza following a 1–0 victory over Ssingo in the final held at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo. The decisive goal came from Alex Talemwa, whose brilliant first-half solo effort sealed the win.
The 2026 Masaza Cup is scheduled to kick off on June 13, with Buweekula set to host the opening match as defending champions.
