Eswatini Premier League champions Nsingizini Hotspurs have confirmed the signing of Ugandan striker Joel Madondo on a two-year contract.
Madondo, a free agent, joins the club with a wealth of experience playing for various teams, including Wydad Casablanca in Morocco and Gaddafi FC in Uganda.
The 2019 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup winner has played for several teams, including BUL FC, Busoga United, Diamond Trust Bank in Tanzania, and Army FC.
He has also represented Uganda at the international level, earning four caps with the Uganda Cranes and playing a key role in the team’s 2019 CECAFA Championship win.
Madondo’s arrival is a significant coup for Nsingizini Hotspurs as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season. His experience and goal-scoring ability will undoubtedly boost the team’s attack and help them maintain their dominance in the Eswatini Premier League.
