A total of thirteen goals were scored in the 9 matches on match day six of the 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup at different venues across the Buganda Kingdom.

Buweekula, Gomba, Buluuli and Ssingo were the only four teams that recorded maximum points on the return of the 2025 Masaza Cup second around.

The 2011 Masaza Cup champions, Buluuli completed double over the reigning champions, Buddu in a 2-0 victory at the Kitovu sports Arena in Masaka.

Peter Ssemyalo’s brace was enough for Buluuli to pick their second consecutive victory in the 2025 Masaza Cup and Stephen Mugisha was named Man of the Match for his brilliant performance on the day.

In the Bulange group, record champions Gomba registered a convincing 2-0 win over 2022 Masaza Cup champions Busiro at Kabulasoke core PTC playground grounds.

Robert Ssewanyana opened the scoring in the 64th minute, and Murushid kiyingi sealed the victory with a second-half goal to pick their first victory in the 2025 Masaza Cup campaign.

Gomba’s goalkeeper, Julius Ssenyonjo, made impressive saves to keep a clean sheet and was named Man of the Match.

In Muganzirwazza group Buweekula made a huge statement with a vital 1-0 victory over the three times champions Bulemeenzi at kasana Kosovo Play ground in Luwero.

In a closely contested match at kasana Kosovo Play ground in Luwero, Fleix Ssekabuuza’s side secured a vital 1-0 win.

Danger man Shafik Ssonko scored the winning goal after a brilliant run by Buweekula’s top scorer Jimmy Kalema. Ssonko was named Man of the Match, and his goal earned Buweekula maximum points in their second around opening match.

In a tightly contested match at Kakaindu playground, Busujju defeated the Islander’s Ssese to secured a 2-1 win. Andrew Mukasa broke dreadlocks in 38th minute for Ssese before Lauben Lubwama equalizing in the 42th minute of the game.

Lubwama scored the winning goal for Busujju to pick their first victory in the second round of the 2025 Masaza Cup. John Ndugu was named Man of the Match.

Ssingo stretches it’s unbeaten run to six matches after a 1-0 hard-fought victory over Mawogola at the Ssingo Ssaza stadium.

Isa ochama own goal was enough for the tigers to pick their second Masaza Cup victory this campaign. Ssingo’s Elvis Ssekajugo was named the Man of the match.
