The Site Monthly awards Organizers has today announced the nominees for the September boxer award. To compete for the award, the four nominated boxers performed during week 10 and 11 of the Uganda Boxing Champions League. They winner will receive a customized plaque, and prize money these includes;
Among the the nominees is Reagan Magumba from Lukanga Boxing Club after his 5:0 win against Frank Kazungu of Brawn Boxing Club in the Light Welter category. Patrick Ambayo from Boggie Boxing Club is the second nominee after his 5:0 win against Denis Muleme of Cobap Boxing Club in the Light Welter weight.
Mawanda Depark from East Coast Boxing Club is another boxer on the list after his 5:0 win against Katabi’s Isaac Kasasa in the Light Middle weight and the last on the list is Edward Mukwaya aka Pastor from Kiwattule Boxing Club after knocking out Lukanga’s Akim Azanga in the Welter weight category.
The boxer with the highest votes will automatically be announced as the winner for the month of September. Site Monthly Awards aim to recognize and reward outstanding performances in various sports disciplines. The awards are proudly sponsored by Wide Tours International and are not affiliated with any governing bodies.
The CEO, Mr. Kakeeto Gonzaga, stated that the awards provide a platform for boxers to compete and win recognition for their exceptional performances and the winners will be reveled next week at the Wide Travel Deals International Ltd complex on Buganda Road.
