The two times masaza cup champions Ssingo and Buweekula have booked their places in the 2025 Masaza Cup final after defeating their respective opponents in the semi-finals on Sunday evening.
Buweekula overcame Kyaggwe 4-3 on penalties after the second leg match ended in a 1-0 in favor of Buweekula at Bishop SS playground in mukuno. Ssingo, on the other hand, edged Bugerere 0-0 in Mityana to complete a 2-1 aggregate Victory.

Buweekula danger man Jimmy Kalema scored the only goal of the game for Buweekula in the first half to put the final nail in the coffin of Kyaggwe’s hopes. Kyaggwe had won the first leg 1-0 at Mubende NTC playground last week.

Buweekula’s coach Felix Ssekabuza Kawooya, who was assistant coach at Busiro in 2022 and Ssingo in (2018 & 2016 winning the titles , l will have a chance to win titles with two different teams.

In the other Semi finals, Bastu Semuyamba’s Ssingo had reached the 2025 masaza cup finals after a goaless draw against Bugerere at the Ssingo Ssaza stadium in Mityana .
The two times champions Ssingo edged Bugerere by one goal on aggregate (1-2) after winning the first leg 1-2 scored by Shaban Kayongo and Ismail Ramitara while bugerere break dreadlocks through Henry Wamala at Ntejeru Ssaza playground .
Ssingo will be aiming their third Masaza Cup trophy and they have won it twice, with their latest victory coming in 2018 when they narrowly beat Buddu in penalty shoot outs 13-14 after normal time ended 1-1 at Mandela National Stadium.
The 2025 Masaza Cup final will be played on 1st November at Hamz stadium in Nakivubo.
