ForteBet Real stars awards organizers have today announced the January winners at the Lazio Bar and Resultant in Lugogo.
The awards this time round had no football among the categories. Nine athletes were nominated under three sports disciplines; Rally, Boxing, and Kho Kho.

Grace Ojiru won in the Kho Kho category after an outstanding performance showed during the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup held at the Indira Gandhi stadium in New Delhi where Uganda scooped bronze.
Ojiru stood out at several occasions winning the most outstanding player of the match against New Zealand in the semi-finals, best attacker in Netherlands, Australia and England games. She beat off competition from teammates; Elinah Natabi and Rose Nankumba to walk way with the award.

In boxing, Alfred Ojok walked away with gong after astonishing performance at AFBC Pro Boxing Gala night in Tunisia.
Uganda’s middle weight boxer, Ojok marked his continental debut with quick stoppage at Libyan Issa Abdallah in the first round at the AFBC Pro Boxing Gala night in Tunisia. He beat off competitions from Latib Muwonge and Majid Kabonge.

In motor rally, Ponsiano Lwakataka and Paul Musaazi won the rally category after defeating the crew of Ronald Ssebuguzi and Anthony Mugambwa and that of Nasser Mutebi and Steven Bunya.
The dynamic crew of Ponsiano Lwakataka and Paul Musaazi, driving their Subaru Impreza N12B, won the first round of the 2025 National Rally Championship calendar in Mbarara.
