The Kenyan transfer market has swung wide open today, and the “Law Enforcers,” Kenya Police FC, have wasted no time in making their intentions clear.

In a triple swoop designed to fortify their title defense, the club has unveiled three high-profile foreign signings from across the continent.

Police FC’s Continental Statement
Struggling with a bit of inconsistency in the first half of the season, coach Dusan Stojanovic has turned to proven African talent to rejuvenate his squad. The three new faces at the Ulinzi Sports Complex include:
Hernest Briyock Malonga (Congo): A versatile left-sided specialist capable of playing both at left-back and on the wing. Malonga arrives from Tanzanian side Coastal Union, bringing much-needed pace and crossing ability to the flanks.

Yves Koutiama (Burkina Faso): A marquee addition to the KPL. The striker is well-known for his exploits with the Burkinabe national team during the African Nations Championship (CHAN). He joins from USFA Ouagadougou and is expected to solve the finishing woes for the reigning champions.

Jacques Bowamba (Congo): To shore up the defense, Police have secured the services of the 22-year-old center-back from AS Otoho. The former AS Vita Club man adds height and physical presence to the backline.

Ugandan Watch: Mustapha Kizza Heads to Nairobi United
For Ugandan football fans, the headline of the day is Mustapha Kizza heading to the Kenyan capital. The experienced left-back, who has previously featured KCCA and Express FC, has officially signed for Nairobi United.

Nairobi United, who have been the surprise package of the season following their promotion and historic FKF Cup win, are looking to Kiiza’s veteran experience as they balance domestic duties with their debut CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

His arrival at the “Naibois” follows a significant squad reshuffle by technical director Salim Ali, as the club aims to maintain its push in the upper echelons of the KPL table.
