Dungu will be assisted by experienced coach Yusuf Kinene, while Suubi William Justin has been appointed as the second assistant coach. Richard Lukyamuzi will serve as the fitness coach, and Ben Kalam has been retained as the goalkeeping coach following the team’s encouraging progress last season.

The 2022 champions have been drawn in the competitive Masengere Group alongside Kyaggwe, three-time champions Bulemeezi, Ssese, record champions Gomba, and three-time winners Mawokota.

Busiro will begin their campaign at home against record champions Gomba at Trinity College Nabbingo Stadium on 21 June 2025.

The 2026 Airtel Masaza Cup will officially kick off on Saturday, 13 June 2025, at the Mubende NTC Grounds, where defending champions Buweekula will face Kyadondo, the 2008 champions, in the opening fixture.
