Posta Rangers’ midfield maestro Jackson Macharia has officially been crowned the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Player of the Month for March, following a vintage display of clinical finishing and tactical brilliance.
Affectionately known as “Mashaa” by the faithful, the former Tusker FC talisman proved that class is permanent. In a month where the “Mailmen” needed a hero to maintain their competitive edge, Macharia stepped up to deliver a goal-scoring masterclass rarely seen from a midfielder.
Macharia’s March highlights reel reads like a striker’s dream. He found the back of the net four times in three high-stakes fixtures:

He opened his monthly account with a crucial strike against defending champions Gor Mahia.
He was the difference-maker against Kariobangi Sharks, netting twice to secure vital points.
He maintained his momentum by breaching the defense of the star-studded Kenya Police FC.
The race for the March plaque was far from a one-man show. Macharia had to fend off stiff competition from some of the league’s most exciting talents, including, Tyson Otieno, Paul Okoth and Robinson Musungu.
Ultimately, his goal-scoring return from midfield and his influence on Posta Rangers’ transition play made him the unanimous choice for the prestigious gong.

In a statement celebrating their star man, Posta Rangers FC noted: “Congratulations to our own, Jackson Macharia ‘Mashaa’ for a well-deserved Award!”
After spending years winning titles with Tusker FC, Macharia’s move to Posta Rangers was questioned by some—but such an award silences the critics.
Macharia’s ability to ghost into the box and his composure under pressure serve as a blueprint for young midfielders across East Africa.
As the KPL enters its final stretch, all eyes will be on “Mashaa” to see if he can carry this golden touch into the season’s closing chapters. Posta sit 12th in the KPL table that is led by Gor Mahia.

That’s fantastic news for Jackson and Posta Rangers! It’s great to see his hard work recognized.
