Toyota continue to extend sponsorship to WRC Safari rally

Toyota Kenya celebrates it’s mark of 100 years with Safari Rally Kenya with yet another sponsorship boost for this year’s edition scheduled for 20-23rd March.

This year, Toyota Kenya has injected Kenyan Shs.33m for the 2025 WRC Safari rally Kenya.

Salima Mvurya, the cabinet secretary and minister of youth affairs, creative economy and sports expressed gratitude after receiving the package.

“It is a great pleasure to see the Safari Rally continues to receive such massive support throughout its entire life from Toyota,” said Hon. Mvuiya.

“As Government, our intention is to introduce training sessions to attract new drivers in the sport to make sure the sport grows larger,” he added.

CFAO Mobility Kenya’s managing director, Arvinder Reel expressed that the sponsorship will focus on making Safari rally great has it has been.

“Toyota will give Safari Rally Shs.33m to help it organize the rally according to the FIA rules. Try and help the spectators to get closer to the competition,” said Reel.

The sponsorship package will come in both monetary terms and in kind. It will include Toyota Pick-ups that will be used as safety vehicles during the event.

The event will have a total of 21 Competitive stages covering a competitive distance of 384.86km.
