Kitara FC will be out to end their poor run of form and complete a league double over Maroons when the two sides meet again this season.

The Royals, coming off consecutive defeats in the Uganda Cup and Premier League most recently a 1-0 loss to Express FC are desperate to bounce back.

Having thrashed Maroons 4-0 in the reverse fixture in Luzira, Kitara will hope to rediscover their attacking spark, especially after going four straight league games without scoring.

“We’ve worked hard to correct our mistakes after the two losses. Playing at home gives us a boost, and we’re ready to fight for a win,” said head coach Wasswa Bbosa.

Maroons, on the other hand, head into the tie in high spirits, aiming to stretch their unbeaten run to three games after recent victories over Mbale Heroes and Police FC. They also carry confidence from their 1-0 win in Hoima last season, a ground where they’ve had past success.
