The Uganda Cranes coaching duo, Morley Byekwaso and Fred Muhumuza, have named the final squad for the Total African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 Finals. The tournament will be held in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from August 2nd to August 30th, 2025.
Midfielder Jerome Kirya is the only player to be dropped from the squad that featured in the CECAFA 3 Nations Tournament in Arusha, Tanzania.
Uganda Cranes are in Group C with Niger, Guinea, Algeria, and South Africa. They will make their seventh appearance at the CHAN finals, having previously played in the 2011, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022 editions.
Vipers SC playmaker, Allan Okello will captain the team. The Cranes will open their campaign on August 4th, 2025, against Algeria.
