Lucky Mlilo re-elected President of African Squash Federation

Lucky Mlilo, a Zimbabwean sports administrator, has been re-elected President of the Squash Federation of Africa (SFA) for a new term from 2025 to 2029. Mlilo was returned unopposed in a virtual Annual General Meeting attended by delegates from several African nations.

Mlilo continues to make history as the first Black African to hold the role since the federation’s founding in 1992. His re-election secures him a seat on the board of the World Squash Federation (WSF).

He expressed his gratitude, saying, “It’s an honour to be in charge of SFA and to represent Africa on the World Squash Federation executive board members board.”

SFA new Executive Board includes:

  • President: Lucky Mlilo (Zimbabwe)
  • VP North: Amna El Tarabolsy (Egypt)
  • VP South: Tiego K. Rabasha (Botswana)
  • VP West and Central Africa: Adamu Ahmed Erena (Nigeria)
  • VP East: Gakuo Ndirangu (Kenya)
  • Secretary General: Charmaine Koveya (Botswana)
  • Treasurer: Ahmed Hawas (Egypt)
