Buddo SS 2-1 Tunisia
Uganda’s representatives in the ongoing 2025 ANOCA School Games, Buddo Senior Secondary School football club staged a came back to edge Tunisian side school football club 2-1 at the Stade Hamlaoui, in Constantine, Algeria on Tuesday evening.
Tunisia broke dreadlocks in the 18th minute for the games’ opener while Barrasa Dickson found the equalizer in the eight minutes of the second half.
Danger man Mukisa Owen scored the winner in the 55th minute with a stunning shot from 35 yards to secure maximum points for Buddo SS in the opener.
Buddo SS had a great start in the opening quarter an hour of the game with Owen Mukisa, Barrasa Dickson, Kato Ephraim and Abbaasa Ali dictating the pace.
Uganda is pooled in Group B alongside North African giants Tunisia and the West African powerhouse Ivory Coast. After tonight’s opener, Uganda will return to action on 31st July against Ivory Coast at the same venue.
