Aisha Nalule honored with Fortebet Life Time Achievers Award for outstanding contributions to Ugandan Football

Hajjat Aisha Nalule, Director of Competitions at the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), has been awarded the Fortebet Life Time Achievers Award for her outstanding contributions to football in Uganda.

At the ceremony that took place at Lazio Bar, Kololo, Nalule said that, “Football has given me everything and taken me places I’ve never imagined, all while being with my family. It’s the biggest part of my life, and I’ve dedicated myself to it.”

Nalule who was pleased with the award also took no time to thank federation presidents who entrusted her.

“I’m grateful to the organizers of the Fortebet Real Stars Awards for recognizing my efforts in promoting sports in Uganda. This award motivates me to work even harder and serve football with dedication, thanks to Hajji Abbas Kawaase and the FUFA presidents who have trusted me,” she added.

Other award winners include; Willy ‘The Ring Tiger’ Kyakonye who won the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Heavyweight title by defeating Joshua Mwenda and Herbert Matovi. KCCA’s striker Emmanuel Anyama who scored 6 goals beat teammate Brian Ijara and Vipers’ Yunus Ssentamu on the best footballer of month award as Jonathan Tumukunde won in Volleyball.
