Defender Brian Toto Majub is among the seven new signings of Atlanta United for the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season.

The under U-20 captain follows his former teammate and Uganda Cranes youngster Allan Oyirwoth who recently signed for major league soccer side New England Revolution.

Toto guided Amus College School to end St Mary’s Kitende’s dominance in the East African Games with a slim 1-0 win to lift their maiden 2024 FEASSA boys’ football trophy in Bukedea.

He was also part of Amus College School that represent Uganda at the ISF Schools Football World Cup at Suoyuwan Stadium in Chinese City of Dalian were they became the first ever East Africa regional team to win ISF World Cup silver.

Amus College was close to the golden heights after playing to a 2-2 normal time draw against hosts China 1, but missed out in the penalty shootout.

The year 2024 was remarkable for the talented defender, he won silver at USSSA nationals Boy’s Championship after defeating St Julian High School in Masaka. He also Captained the Uganda U20 side, Hippos in 2024 during the CECAFA region AFCON Qualifiers in Tanzania.

Having signed pre-contract with Atlanta United 2 in July 2024, this will have already given Majub the perfect picture of what to expect at his new home.

Majub was signed alongside six other players in Patrick Weah, Moises Tablante, Salvatore Mazzaforre, Ryan Carmichael, Arif Kovac and Santiago Pita who will all be hoping to make their debuts on February 12th when the MLS Next Pro league kicks off.
