The Uganda motorsports community has once again proved that rallying is more than just speed — it’s about heart.
During the Rajiv Ruparelia Memorial Gulu Rally, organisers Central Motor Club (CMC) extended a helping hand to persons with disabilities in Gulu, living up to the true spirit of where rally cars pass.

In honour of the charitable legacy of their former patron, the late Rajiv Ruparelia, CMC donated essential household supplies to the Gulu Disabled Persons’ Union.
The touching donation took place on Friday, October 9, just hours before the event was officially flagged off.

The items donated included rice, sugar, maize flour, cooking oil, biscuits, milk powder, silverfish, washing soap, among other essentials.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Joyce Ouma thanked CMC for the kind gesture, while area Mayor Gift Abel praised the club for its big heart and asked them to always remember the people with disabilities in Gulu.
As engines roared in the areas of Gulu, CMC left more than just tyre marks — they left a smile.
