The 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup tournament second around resumed on Saturday with four matches across the three groups played at various playgrounds.

The 2008 champions Kyaddondo and the three times champions Mawokota shared spoils in a 0-0 draw at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo. Faisal kyazze of Kyaddondo was named the Man of the match for his impressive performance on the day.

Bugerere extended their unbeaten run to six game after a hard fought one all draw against controversial Buvuma at the Magyo Ssaza playground.

The Islander’s Buvuma broke dreadlocks through Kasakya Ibra while the unbeaten Bugerere equalized through Osman Mayanja who was later named the Man of the match.

In another entertaining encounter Kabula held the favorites, Kyaggwe at Bakijjulula playground, Joel Miquel Opio scored for Kabula while Ivan Bravo Kalyowa scored for the 2024 runners up. Kabula’s Mutebi Patrick was the man of the match.

Butambala held Kooki to a goaless draw at the Kibibi Secondary School playground.

Masaza Cup Matchday six resumes today with five exciting matches across Buganda.

In Bulange group Holders Buddu will lock horns with the 2011 champions Buluuli at Kitovu sports Arena in Masaka. The record champions Gomba will host the 2022 champions Busiro at Kabulasoke core PTC while Busujju will host the Islander’s ssese at Kakaindu play ground.

In Muganzirwazza group, Ssingo will face off Mawogola at the Ssingo Ssaza ground while the three times champions Bulemeenzi will host Buweekula at Kasana Kosovo Play ground.
