BUL FC will seek to show supremacy over Lugazi FC as they host them in the second leg of Uganda Premier League at Fufa Technical Center Stadium in Njeru in the Eastern derby.
BUL FC beat Lugazi FC 1-2 in the first leg at Najjembe stadium in January and will be looking to complete the double over the Leaders. Isaac Wagoina scored a brace as Abdul Kalanzi scored a consolation for Lugazi in the first leg.
The Eastern Gaints, haven’t registered any loss in the second round, winning eight and drawing two games. They have scored seven goals at home in the second round and conceded only one against URA.
BUL FC will be looking to extend it’s unbeaten run at home winning four games and kept four clean sheets in five games played at home. They will miss out the services of Martin Aprem and Ibrahim Mugulusi, who are injured and the suspended players Walter Ochora and Nicholas Mwere, as well as head coach Abbey Kikomeko. Defender Pascal Ngobi, George Kasongo, and Karim Ndugwa have to pass a late fitness test.
On Another side Lugazi FC comes into this game with superb came back victory over Soltilo Bright Stars (3-1) on Friday at Lugazi Stadium in Najjembe.
The Najjembe based side will be without Abdul Kalanzi, Paul Wasswa, and Shafiq Avemah due to injuries. Sharif Saaka and Sam Ssemugugu return from injury and illness, respectively.
Out of Lugazi’s four matches played away from home in the second round, they have managed to win one game, drawn once and lost two.
Lugazi FC has scored only three goals away from home in second round, and all goals were against Mbale Heroes and have kept one clean sheet in the second round, which came against Kitara FC. They are 11th on the Uganda Premier League table with 31 points, while BUL FC are third position with 46 points in twenty five matches.
