The 2022 Masaza Cup champions, Busiro have appointed experienced leader and workolic player Kalibwani Hamuza as their first team captain ahead of the 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup.
Kalibwani will be deputized by goalkeeper Kimera Lawrence, Ogwang Benson and Abeeka Joshua as 1st, 2nd and 3rd captains respectively.
Busiro is under the stewardship of Mulangira Denis Kiyimba assisted by Hassan Wasswa Mawanda and Kimuli Robert.
Busiro will kick off their campaign on Saturday, June 29th, against Busujju in the Bulange Group at Kakindu playground in Busujju. The group features six teams, including Gomba, Buddu, Busiro, Busujju, Ssese, and Buluuri.
With a strong squad and coaching staff, Busiro aims to win their second Masaza Cup title since the tournament’s inception in 2004.
