As the engines rev up for Round 6 of the National Rally Championship, Central Motor Club (CMC) is set to prove that motorsport is more than just speed — it’s about giving back.
The club has announced a charity donation activity ahead of the highly anticipated Gulu rally, slated for the 9th-10th October weekend in Northern Uganda.
The charity outreach will take place at the Gulu Disabled Person’s Union Offices on Friday, 10th October — hours before the main rally action — as drivers and officials reach out to the local community before hitting the stages.
It will be a moment of humanity before the adrenaline, as the rally family donates and interacts with persons with disabilities in Gulu.
Later that same Friday, attention will shift to Kaunda Grounds, where fans will be treated to a thrilling Super Special Stage — a perfect teaser for the weekend’s battle.
On the sporting side, the stakes are sky-high. Hassan Alwi heads to Gulu leading the championship standings, but with the challenging Northern terrain and a hungry chasing pack, nothing is guaranteed.
Round 6 promises to deliver both on and off the track — charity, speed, and the true spirit of Ugandan motorsport.
