Ssese 1- 1 Kyaggwe (aggregate 3-1)
Last year’s Masaza Cup finalists, Kyaggwe became the first team to storm the 2025 semi finals after one all draw against Ssese at Lutoboka playground in Kalangala. This draw complimented their 2-0 win in the first leg to advance on 3-1 aggregate.

Kyaggwe’s goal was scored by David Mugalu after Ssese’s lead through Muhammad Sabiri in the first half.
Simon Peter Mugerwa’s charges reach the quarter-finals as second placed in the Muganzirwazza group with 19 points while the Islander’s qualified to the quarter finals as best-losers from Bulange group. Kyaggwe will play either Buweekula or Busujju.

Coach Simon Peter Mugerwa expressed his gratitude to storming the semi finals; “I thank my players for showcasing significant improvement the journey is just starting with our aim to win this year’s Masaza Cup trophy and I also thank everyone from the county chief, the administrators, the coaches and funs we have all done a corrective responsibility.”
Mugerwa have won the tournament before with Bulemeezi in 2019 and Busiro in 2022.

Except Bulemeezi and Busiro, Mugerwa also coached big counties like Buddu and Ssingo where he served last year and stopped in the Quarter finals.
The 2025 masaza cup quarter finals second leg returns tomorrow with three games including Buweekula playing host to Busujju at Mubende NTC playground while the two times champions Ssingo will face Mawokota at Ssingo Ssaza grounds as Buluuli will host Bugerere.
