Experienced Handball Coach Ssemujju Frank Wyne to Attend IHF B License Course in Cairo

Ugandan experienced handball Coach Ssemujju Frank Wyne, head coach of Kampala University Handball Club and national trainer to attend the International Handball Federation (IHF) B License Coaching Course.

The International Handball Federation (IHF) B License Coaching Course is taking place in Cairo, Egypt from April 6 to 16, 2025.

Ssemujju, a seasoned tactician and former head of Police Handball Club, currently holds an IHF C License. His selection for this prestigious 10-day course marks a significant step in his professional journey and in the technical advancement of handball coaching in Uganda.

Upon successful completion, Ssemujju will become one of the only two IHF B License holders in the country, highlighting Uganda’s ongoing progress in developing high-level coaching capacity and reinforcing technical structures within the sport.

“Ssemujju’s commitment to growth and excellence reflects the federation’s broader vision of empowering local coaches and enhancing the competitiveness of our national teams,” said Jimmy Olutin (head CCM) Uganda Handball Federation.

“We believe his enhanced knowledge will greatly benefit the sport across all levels in Uganda.”
