Rines SS have written a new chapter in school sports history, clinching their first-ever FEASSA Girls’ Football title after defeating Ugandan rivals Amus College in a tense final at Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro on Saturday morning.
In an all-Ugandan showcase of regional dominance, neither side could break the deadlock during regulation time. With everything on the line, Rines SS held their nerve in a dramatic penalty shootout, edging out Amus College 4-3 following a 0-0 draw to claim their maiden regional gold.

Amus College swept aside Rwanda’s PSSB Huye with a dominant 3-0 victory at Jamhuri Stadium.
Rines SS ground out a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Boni Consilli Vocational & Secondary School at Ujenzi Ground to set up the final.
The historic victory marks a monumental milestone for Rines SS, capping off a flawless knockout campaign in Tanzania and cementing their status at the top of regional schoolgirls’ football.
