The FUFA Disciplinary Panel (FDP) has suspended three Kitara FC players, Titus Ssematimba, Henry Kaddu Patrick, and George Senkaaba for two matches each from all FUFA organised competitions following incidents during their Uganda Cup clash against BUL FC.

According to FUFA, the trio was found guilty of improper conduct around the 60th minute of the heated encounter, in violation of Section 43(3) of the FUFA Competition Rules.

The specific nature of the misconduct has not been detailed, but it was deemed serious enough to warrant immediate disciplinary action.

In addition to the bans, each player has been handed a suspended fine of UGX 500,000. The fines will only be enforced if the players commit further disciplinary offenses during FUFA sanctioned competitions.

The suspension deals a blow to Kitara FC, who are chasing silverware on multiple fronts this season.

The absence of key players like Kaddu, Ssematimba, and Senkaaba is likely to test the squad’s depth in upcoming fixtures.

FUFA reiterated its commitment to upholding discipline across all levels of the game and warned that repeated violations would attract stiffer sanctions
