NAIROBI, KENYA – The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) title race continues to heat up after KCB FC Thursday secured a vital 2-1 victory over Ulinzi Stars at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
The win moves the “Bankers” to within just two points of league leaders Kenya Police FC.

In a match dominated by aerial prowess, KCB took the lead in the 42nd minute when Stephen Etyang connected with a well-placed cross to head home the opener.
Ulinzi Stars, playing on their home turf, fought back in the second half. Their persistence paid off in the 67th minute when Paul Okoth found the back of the net to level the score, setting up a tense final twenty minutes.
However, KCB’s dominance in the air proved to be the difference maker. In the 85th minute, Jack Ong’anya rose highest to head in the winning goal, ensuring all three points headed back to Nairobi.
