The 22-year-old defender began his football career with Makindye Soccer Academy at the age of three and spent 13 formative years developing his skills. He later joined Express FC Junior Team, where he scored nine goals across two seasons in the FUFA Juniors League. Mafumu’s impressive performances earned him a promotion to the senior squad, where he demonstrated versatility playing as a center back, left back, and midfielder.
