Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) has voted in Odisitse George Keotsene as President following an intervention of the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) President, Bouchra Hajij, in October.
The federation has also experienced internal “shake-ups” and administrative changes,
In August 2025, the Executive Committee passed a Vote of no confidence in the Tsoseletso Magang-led Administration over poor governance and operations. An Interim Committee was then instituted to fill the gap.
Over the weekend George Keotsene was voted as the new president, pulling an 8-7 victory over former vice president administration Ndibo Lebala. , to assume office for the next four years (Until 2029).
Pogiso Osupile defeated Isaac Thenjelani and Lee Tsipana to claim the vice president of beach volleyball role after four re-runs due to failure by each candidate to get more than 50% of the votes.
