Bright Stars FC vs UPDF FC at Kavumba Recreation Stadium
The StarTimes Uganda Premier League matchday 13 returns today Wednesday as wounded Bright Stars FC hosts UPDF FC at Kavumba Recreation Stadium.
The Kavumba based side comes in this game with big boost after the return of two key players including midfielder general Marvin Youngman and defender Fiat Cleophus who have recovered from injuries and have returned to full fitness. The pair has been involved in team training the all of this week.
Ian Mutenda’s side will miss Alex Mandela and midfielder John Kokas Alou due to injuries.

Bright Stars comes into today’s game after a 1-0 loss against NEC FC in their last game at the MTN Omondi Stadium.
In their last five games, they have lost four, winning only one. Their sole win this season came in November, a 1-0 triumph over Kitara FC, leaving them at the bottom of the log with six points from 11 matches.
On Another side UPDF FC will seek to return to winning ways after a 1-1 draw with Mbale Heroes at the Bombo Barracks on matchday twelve.

Paul Kiwanuka’s side will miss out five players including; Aggrey Kiirya, Ronald Kayondo, Samson Kigozi, Shakib Mayanja and Lubwama Enrique.
The Bombo based side have only one win in their last away matches against BUL FC. They have lost three times and drawn twice.
UPDF FC currently sits 7th on the log with 17 points after 11 matches.
Although they boast six wins over Bright Stars in 17 meetings, their last away victory over Bright Stars dates back to 2016, a 1-0 win at Champions Stadium, Mwererwe.
UPDF FC Head Coach Kiwanuka, will be facing his former team and will be aiming to guide his side to only their second away victory over Bright Stars.
Last season, each team won it’s home encounter, with Bright Stars beating UPDF FC (2-1) in Kavumba and UPDF FC winning (1-0) in Bombo.
