Following Mengo City climbing on the top of Futsal Super League in matchday 17, the on form side maintained the top sport by beating Edgars Youth programme 2-0 extending their unbeaten run to 17 games.
In the high intesty game, both sides played a goalless half time but AbdulKarim Tebela broke the deadlock few minutrmes into second half.
After that goal Edgar’s didn’t give up but Ian Tugume found a second goal beating Edgar’s goalkeep Charles Okello to send Mengo City in a better comfort zone.
Now Mengo City is sitting on top with 45 points above Park FC who returned to winning way with a 3-2 over Nansana Aska following a Shock 2-1 defeat to Kabowa Dream Team

John Kitanda gave Park FC a first-half lead, but Jacob Opio and Kazibwe Shuhaib in min time to overturn things.
However Park FC showcased their credentials with an opposite turn of the game with Kitanda levelling in the 30th minute scoring his second of the night before Derrick Walugembe finding a winner to keep one point game behind leader.

Earlier Kabowa Dream Team continued their impressive perfomances in recent day after fighting from two goals down to beat QC Mbarara 5-3.
MKenneth Majara and Tamale Franklin found an early advantage for QC Mbarara but Mugenyi Swabur pulled one back before half-time and equalised from the spot early in the second half.

Vincent Abigaba briefly restored QC’s lead with a penalty but Kabowa was more than ready for the challenge and came back in the final ten minutes with goals from Patrick Ssekandi, Carlos Kaddu, and Vincent Kazibwe to complete the game at high.
Elsewhere, Ilyas Omran stole the show with a five-goal to guide Kisenyi FC winning 9-7 over Kabuusu Cloud.
Omran’s prolific display took his tally to 29 goals, making him the current top scorer in the league.
With four games remaining to tap the league climax the title race remains wide open with both the top three still in contention
The competition shall continue next friday on 18th April 2025 with all teams taking into actions
