The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the kick-off and final dates for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations PAMOJA 2027.
The tournament will kick off on Saturday, 19 June 2027, and the final will be played on Saturday, 17 July 2027. The hosts for the opening match and the final will be announced in due course.
This historic edition, dubbed “Pamoja” (meaning “Together”), marks the first time three nations – Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda – will co-host the competition. It’s also the first time the tournament will return to the CECAFA region since 1976.
The journey to the tournament is already underway, with the preliminary round completed. The draw for the qualifiers will take place on 19 May 2026, featuring 48 teams, including the three co-hosts.
The teams will be drawn into 12 groups of four, with the top two from each group progressing to the final tournament.
