Park FC has become the first team to defend the Futsal Super Cup title, defeating double champions Mengo City 7-6 in a thrilling match at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
The victory marks a remarkable achievement for Park FC, who also won the inaugural edition of the Super Cup last year, defeating Kisenyi FC 7-5.

Dominant Display
Park FC started strong, with Joshua Aziku opening the scoring in the 4th minute and doubling the lead a minute later. Captain Shafiq Mulangira and Michael Abura further extended Park’s lead to 4-0 before Mengo City pulled one back through Abdulkarim Tebera. Aziku’s stunning first-half hat-trick gave Park a commanding 5-1 lead at halftime.

Thrilling Comeback
Mengo City fought back valiantly in the second half, with Tebera and John Musasizi reducing the deficit. However, Abasi Muluya’s quickfire goals restored Park’s four-goal lead.
Despite a late surge from Mengo, including a remarkable cameo from goalkeeper Stuart Kafuluma, Park FC held firm to secure a 7-6 victory.

Reward for Victory
Park FC’s victory earned them UGX 1,000,000 courtesy of Betpawa Uganda. This win cements Park FC’s position as a dominant force in Ugandan futsal, and their successful defense of the Super Cup title is a testament to their skill and determination.
