Uganda Prison’s Belinda Chemutai has won bronze in the 5 km race at the cursa dels Nassos, a world Athletics Label road race, in Barcelona on Tuesday December 31 2024.
Balinda posted a time of 14:36 minutes to win a bronze medal to end the year 2024 in style while Kenya’s Beatrice Chebet, the Olympic 5000m and 10,000m champion, emerged winner on 13:54 minutes time as Medina Eisa from Ethiopia settled for silver with 14:23 time.
Uganda Prison’s Chemutai recently won the 21KM race at the second edition of the Elgon Half Marathon. She ran for 1:11:15 hour time to clinch gold.
