She has already done it. Dominant. Decisive. Champion.
Jamairah Makumbi heads into this Sunday’s season finale at Garuga Race Park with her head held high, having already mathematically clinched the MX Women Lite title with a massive 340 points — long before the final gate drops.
She leaves no debate. Chasing her are Nakanwagi Agnes (196 points) in second and Rahmah Kimera (177 points) in third, but the crown already belongs to Jamairah.

A STAR BORN FOR SPEED
The daughter of Ugandan rally ace Rashid “Shidy” Makumbi, Jamairah is not just winning — she is inspiring a generation.
In a sport dominated by boys, she races them head-on in her age divisions, routinely battling at the top of the national circuit and famously pushing championship-winning boys to the limit.
Her fearless pace earned her the ultimate honour — selection to represent Uganda at the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in Romagné, France in 2025.

And she does it as a family affair. Together with her siblings Janan Makumbi and Ashram Makumbi, the trio famously storms the national tracks carrying the iconic bike number 73.
GARUGA SHOWDOWN STILL ON
While Jamairah and five other class leaders have already sealed their crowns early, Garuga will still be on fire.
Over 83 riders are in full preparation mode, with seven championship categories still wide open and separated by razor-thin margins. Expect drama, dust, and final-lap heartbreak.

The queen may have been crowned, but the war is far from over.
