Sam Ssenyonjo scored a hat-trick to help Express win in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League matchday 18 under floodlights at Hamz stadium.
The Red Eagles broke dreadlocks through Sam Ssenyonjo in the 14th minutes of game scoring from Spot.
Moses Oloya equalized in the 65th minute of game after catching the express backline cold and made no mistake when he brought up a brilliant shot to finish off ball inside the box.
Few minutes later, Richard Basangwa scored for Express to make it 2-1. This was Basangwa’s first goal for the Red Eagles in this 2024/25 Uganda premier league campaign.
Ssenyonjo scored in the 89th and 90+3 to completes his a hat trick thus guiding the Reds to a win since their last against UPDF.
Badru Kaddu’s side shifted to 5th position with 28 points while Wakiso Giants remain 14th with 13 points in 18 games.
In the next match the Red Eagles will visit Lugazi FC at Najjembe stadium on Thursday 6th March while Wakiso Giants will host NEC FC on Friday 7th March.
