The two Ugandan representative at the 2025 CAF Africa Schools Football Championship in Ghana, St Noa settles for silver as Kitende finishes fourth as the
Championship finally Climaxed on Saturday, 26th April, with an official closing and awarding ceremony held at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra City.
Ghana’s U-15 girls team crowned a brilliant campaign by defeating Uganda’s St Noa 2-1 to win the 2025 African Schools football championship (ASFC) girls edition.
Having finished second, St Noa Girls will receive sports infrastructure worth $200,000 as prize money in addition to what they received at the zonal qualifiers while the champions Ghana girls will walk way with $300000 as prize money.

The President of the Republic of Ghana, John Mahama, was the day’s chief guest. CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku, CAF Executive Members, CECAFA President Wallace Karia and FUFA President Moses Hassim Magogo were also in attendance.
Uganda boys football team, St Marys’ Kitende lost to host Ghana in the third place play off to finish fourth.
Kitende took a halftime lead, through Henry Muhozi, but couldn’t hold onto it as Ghana came from behind to win the game 2-1.
In the boys category Tanzania U-15 Boys team won the CAF Schools Football Championship after beating Senegal 3-2 on penalties after a barren drawn.

As champions, the team receive a cash prize of $ 300000, with $ 200000 awarded to the runners up and $ 150000 to the third placed team in both the boy’s and girls competitions.
The Ugandan representative at the CAF Africa Schools Girls Football silver medallists St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana and St Mary’s kitende are set to return home today, with their flight expected to land at Entebbe International Airport at 5:55 PM EAT.
