The Uganda Men’s Netball Team, The Rock, has been knocked out of the Africa Netball Cup title contention after losing 41-48 to South Africa in their final Pool 1 match.

This means they’ll now focus on classification matches to secure their best possible ranking.
Despite the setback, The Rock’s performance marks a significant milestone for men’s netball in Uganda, showcasing their fighting spirit and competitiveness.

They started strong with a 40-39 win over Botswana, but faced challenges against Zimbabwe (33-37 loss) and South Africa.
The team will regroup and aim for a high ranking in the classification matches, gaining valuable experience for future continental appearances.

Meanwhile, Kenya’s men defeated Malawi 39-35 in another exciting match.

What a tough game for The Rock! It’s disappointing to see them miss out, but great effort from both teams.
