Uganda Cranes midfielder Travis Mutyaba has joined Tunisian club CS Sfaxien on a two-year contract. The skilled playmaker moves to CS Sfaxien as a free agent after parting ways with French side Girondins Bordeaux.

In the previous season, Mutyaba made 18 appearances in the French fourth tier, mostly as a substitute, but failed to score or provide an assist. He also featured in three Coupe de France matches and played three games for Bordeaux’s reserve side in National 3, scoring once.

Mutyaba is a product of Uganda’s schools’ football program, having played for St Mary’s Kitende and St Andrew’s Kaggwa Gombe High School. He has represented Uganda at various youth levels, including the U-15, U-17, U-18, and U-20 teams, before graduating to the senior national team, the Uganda Cranes. With his move to CS Sfaxien, Mutyaba is expected to revive his career and make a significant impact in the Tunisian league.
