Ugandan Archer Hamza Ndiwalana Scoops Silver at the Kenya National Archery Championship

The Kenya National Archery Championship climaxes yesterday evening at Strathmore university in Nairobi were players from Kenya, Uganda and Mauritius showcasing their talent and skill in one day tournament.

Uganda was represented by three Archers include the 2024 best Archer Hamza Ndiwalana, Byamukama Jonathan and the only lady on the team Moreen Awor.

The Titans Archery club’s Hamza Ndiwalana win Silver in the Barebow unique category with 404 points defeated by Kenya’s William Shamir to walk way with Gold while Kairu Sonia won Bronze .

Hamza Ndiwalana believes her performance at the kenya National Archery Championship was a timely boost as she prepares for the international Archery Championships next .

’I am happy that I managed to win silver medal at the Kenya National Archery Championship. I appreciate the encouragement from fellow Ugandans just before the Championship. They inspired me to win the medal” he said.

Other two Ugandan Bymukaama Jonathan from makerere archery club finished 10 position in Recurve with 216 points at 70m . While Moreen Awor finished eighth in Barebow unique with 234 points.

Kenyans dominated the Kenya National Archery Championship winning all the categories.
