The Victoria Pearls delivered a commanding performance, beating Zimbabwe by 4 runs in a high-stakes Kwibuka Women’s T20 match at the Gahanga Oval on Thursday.

After Zimbabwe won the toss and chose to bowl first, Uganda posted a competitive 105/5, thanks to contributions from Janet Mbabazi (26), Proscovia Alako (18), and Stephanie Nampiina’s unbeaten 22*. Zimbabwe’s bowlers were effective, but 24 extras proved costly.

In the run chase, Zimbabwe began steadily, but Uganda’s bowlers, led by Mbabazi and Consy Aweko, bowled with discipline and intensity.
