The UMC Fort Portal Tourism City Rally, scheduled for August 22nd to 24th, will be the 5th round of the National Rally Championship (NRC). The rally will cover a total distance of 280 km, with 125 km competitive and 155 km of liaison sections. The event will take place in Kyenjojo and Fort Portal districts, showcasing the scenic beauty of the region.
Kyenjojo will host two stages, which will be run twice each, while Fort Portal will host three stages on Day 2, with two repeated stages and one power stage. The rally will start with scrutineering on Friday, August 22nd, in Fort Portal, followed by a ceremonial start at Panorama Hotel.

Top drivers, including 2010 NRC champion Nasser Mutebi, Isaac Sozzi, Peter Kalule, and Faizal Kayira, are determined to finish the event victorious and collect crucial points for the year’s championship.
Defending champion Omar Dauda, who has won the Fort Portal Rally twice in a row (2023 and 2024), aims to make it a hat-trick of wins. With the top three crews separated by fewer than 20 points, the championship battle is more intense than ever.
