BUL FC and Police played out a goalless draw in the Uganda premier league matchday twenty four held at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru on Friday evening.

In a game that saw limited chances, nothing could separate the two sides after the entire 90 minutes.

However, BUL will feel unlucky for not walking away with the three points on the day, after Karim Ndugwa missed golden opportunity to give the hosts lead in the second half.

The opening exchanges saw a closely contested affair, as both sides barely created clear cut chances.

For the visitors, they had a few chances to score but missed a couple. In the 30 minutes of the game Umaru Kasumba was fouled for a distant free kick taken by Tonny Kiwalazi but the BUL goalkeeper easily saved.

Eight minutes later Police skipper Kayongo Samuel was fouled on and Bukenya delivered a free kick in the danger by goalkeeper Okurut was equal to the challenge.

In the second stanza, it was the same situation as both sides failed to convert the few available chances in the game.

Speaking after the game, Police FC head coach Matia Lule expressed his disappointment with the result given the fact that they missed on many occasions to score.

“We missed many chances, we are disappointed that we had worked on that in our previous game, we have tried that on the counter attacks but the boys didn’t convert the chances. We shall go back to the drawing board and do more on that, but am proud of the boys, defensively they are working hard, and more committed,” he told the pressmen after the game.
