Wakiso Giants vs URA FC – 4PM
The Startimes Uganda Premier League matchday 10 resumes today Wednesday evening, as Wakiso Giants play host to URA FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
The fixtures come as both sides losing previous game, Wakiso Giants was humiliated by SC Villa in 6-1 goal thriller on Saturday while URA FC lost to Vipers (2-0) at Nakivubo Stadium on Friday evening.
Speaking to Rora Media, assistant coach Tonny Mawejje explained the key areas that they’ve worked on to get maximum points.
“We have been struggling in our last six games, and our main problem has been not scoring. After the Villa loss, we’ve worked hard to improve on execution and utilizing chances so that we get maximum points on Wednesday,” He concluded.
In the last six league meetings between these clubs, each has won two, and the other two have ended level.
However, in their last home league game against the Tax Collectors, they were victors thanks to our former striker Kenneth Kimera’s goal.
Sitting 13th on the table with 9 points and a victory will take them to 10th position on same points (12) as 7th place team.

URA will miss Isma Mugulusi, Denis Otim, Faizo Matovu, and Shariph Kimbowa, while goalkeeper Derrick Ochan is also doubtful for this encounter.

Defender Musa Ssegujja, who picked a groin injury in the last game against SC Villa on Saturday, is unavailable.
Bengo’s team will also continue to miss Rahmat Ssenfuka, Kizito Luwaga, Herbert Asiimwe, Derrick Kaija, and Alex Komakech due to injuries. Marvin Mukiibi will miss the game as well, as he’s still at school doing his UACE final exams.
