Only 16 out of the 54 crews will go for the qualifying stage of the Shell V Power pearl of Africa Uganda rally.
The continental event that is the second round if the Africa Rally championship started on Wednesday May 6,2026 with documentation and checking of cars at Shell Mankenke on the outskirts of Mbarara City.
According to the start order list released by clerk of the course Kisitu Mayanja, only 16 crews on Thursday May 7th 2026 will go for the qualifying stage to determine the start order of the rally on Friday May 8,2026.

Two -time ARC champion Karan Patel will open the day in the stage expected to be more muddy and slippery following heavy rains on Wednesday evening.
He will be followed byAkif Viran, Samman Vohra ,Jasmeet Chana all from Kenya before Uganda’s Oscar Ntambi follows.
All the 16 crews in the qualifying stage are competing for the Africa Rally championship title.
