As days for the Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally (POAUR) continue to grow closer, routes and dates for specific stages have been done and dusted.
POAUR will be the second round of African Rally Championship as well as the third round of Uganda National Rally Championship. It’s slated for May 8th-10th in Western region of the country, Mbarara in particular.
The three-day event will run from Thursday May 8th with free practise, qualifier stage and shake down taking the show. A 4.2km stage will be done for qualification as shake down takes 4.3km.
Day two (Friday May 9th) will entertain three stages as day three (Saturday May 10th) accommodates the larger percentage of the event with eight stages including power stage.
