Kyaggwe County, through its chief head Ssekiboobo Matovu Vincent, this evening at the Ssaza headquarters unveiled a strong management committee to oversee the team’s operations ahead of the 2026 Masaza Cup, which is expected to kick off in June.
Kyaggwe, who were finalists in the 2024 Masaza Cup, appointed Hon. Kanaabi Jimmy as Chairperson of the management committee. He will be deputized by Mr. Kiwanuka Ali as Vice Chairperson (Administration).
Mr. Nsobya Shaddrack will head technical affairs, while Ms. Naluzze Aisha takes charge as Treasurer. Mr. Mpanga Fred has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Media operations will be handled by Bagala Peace Diane, a presenter with BBS TV and CBS FM.
The county chief also confirmed Ntulume Jonathan Kwagalakwe as Team Manager, while Mr. Mukasa Edward will serve as Team Doctor.
In the 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup, Kyaggwe were eliminated in the semi-finals by the defending champions Buweekula after a dramatic penalty shootout.
The 1st Leg (October 12, 2025 – Mubende): Kyaggwe won 1-0 away 2nd Leg (October 19, 2025 – Mukono Bishops Playground): Buweekula won 1-0 in normal time.
Penalties: Buweekula won 4-2 to reach the final.
Following the semi-final exit, Kyaggwe defeated Bugerere 1-0 on November 1, 2025, to secure third place.
