Express v BUL

NEC v Mbarara

Fresh from a statement victory in Njeru, UPDF return to Bombo with renewed belief as they square off against URA in a clash that could shape both sides’ fight to steer clear of danger.

The army side’s emphatic display last time out has lifted them to 12th on 20 points, creating a small but vital cushion above the relegation places. Now, back on home turf, they will look to build momentum against a URA side enduring a difficult run of form.

Separated by just three points, URA sit 11th with 23 points, but their recent struggles have raised concerns. Their last outing ended in frustration after surrendering an early lead to Police, compounded by a missed penalty from skipper Moses Aliro—an outcome that left the technical bench visibly displeased.

UPDF will rely on the attacking spark of Enrique Lubwama, Samson Kigozi and Emmanuel Ochen to press their advantage, though they must stay alert to URA’s threats, with Aliro, Bunyaga and their teammates capable of punishing any lapses.

With both sides desperate to steady their campaigns, the Bombo encounter promises tension, urgency and high stakes at both ends of the table.
