Uganda Cranes head coach Paul Put has officially named his final 28-man squad for the upcoming international window, which features two crucial opening matches in the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2027 qualification campaign.
Uganda is placed in Group H alongside Tunisia, Libya, and Botswana.
In the opening window, the Cranes face a tough away test against North African powerhouse Tunisia on September 24 before hosting Libya on September 29.
Following these competitive fixtures, the Cranes will turn their attention to a double-header of international friendlies against DR Congo in early October.
Although Uganda has already secured automatic entry to the AFCON 2027 final tournament as co-hosts alongside Kenya and Tanzania, these qualifiers offer vital competitive practice.
Only one additional team from Group H will advance to the final tournament.
