Gift Ssebuguzi has excited motorsport fans as he exhibited talent and skills in the opening round of the national motocross championship in Kaliisizo Kyotera.

The MX125CC class racer beat the opposition from Daniel Mitima and Jason Burrows who came second and third respectively. He won all the three heats in his class plus one he did take part in the MX1 Class which had the likes of Maxime Van Pee.
The one day event saw Jonathan Katende and Isaac Mitima colide after the finish flag and Mitima was rushed to hospital for an X-ray after filling pain in the arm in the in the 85cc class.

Brothers Miguel Katende and Jonathan Katende finished first and second respectively in the MX65cc class, as Larry Ssekamwa beat stiff opposition from the Musedde brothers.

Arthur blick Jr, the FMU deputy vice president in charge of motorcycling was impressed with the standards and level of competitions as he promised to work on programmes that improve them before the international calendar.
